Please post dimensions of all possible work to be hung. 2-D, 3-D, number of pieces you wish to hangin the show. We can narrow donw the number later, according to space.
I can't say I am exactly positive as to what I will show. I want to be able to have as much variety in my work as possible (and I have a variety of different sizes). I can imagine fitting my work into an 8-10' square area..but I'm not sure what the distance from one work to the next should be. I can live with my work being around 3-5 inches apart from one another. So if that is presentable, I think an 8-10' sq area is a good amount of space for me.
I'm honestly willing to do whatever is feasible though.
I'm going to try to remember to do this myself (if I have one), but if anyone can bring a tape measure tomorrow they should. I know the woman who works there can give us a ballpark measurement of the overall space, but we need to measure how wide that sidewalk area actually is and all the other space so we have some real measurements to work with and can make some concrete decisions.
I'm planning on having 3 drawings, each around 24x36. The point of this thread is to see what everyone wants to show, so we can design a layout accordingly.
still not 100%, but this is what i have to offer right now: 56 8x10 photographs, forming one piece, 7 images across by 8 down, so that would be 64''x70''
without matte and frame my images are 22x15 (vertical images). So I just need to figure out how much bigger it will be with matting. I'm going to include 2 pieces.
I like to include a painitng, probably 5x3 and maybe a print or two, 11x30. If that is too much wall space I also have a soft scuplture that would most likely need to hang from the ceiling instead of using the prints.

Photography (vertical side first)
one 9 1/2 x 12 in
two 12 x 17 in
My stuff is really big so I'm just going to include 1 piece.
54 inches x 72 inches
how much space do we have? most of my stuff is 30x40
At this time, I'm not sure what I'll be showing. I hope to have two 7' x 4' paintings done. And I also have smaller prints.
So, at this point, I can't really give concrete information.

I'm probably just going to include one piece, 36"x48". Most likely vertical.
anywhere between 12"x12" to 36"x48"
I'm flexible

I will be showing works on paper, but I am not sure exactly what I will be showing. I will say that the dimensions can vary from :
16"x20" to 24"x48"
I will probably show no more than 3 pieces!?
Paintings. 30x36. I can have up to 5 pieces. Let me know how many I CAN have.

Im guessing im going to need about a 4-5 foot wide space on a wall.

I think I'll put in one painting, no more than 5' in width.
i am still working out the logistics of my ideas, but right now, but i will be showing either:
a 1-2' (h) x 12' (w) x 2-3' (d) sculpture -space permitting.
or
a 'scuplture' about 5 or 6' in diameter -developer permitting.
don't need no wall space.
i'm thinking about including 3 30"x 22" drawings. i can cut it back to 2 if there isn't enough space to go around.
3 or 4 prints, no bigger than 22x30 (mostly vertical)

17" x 21.5" book that can be on a stand or a hung shelf
4.5" x 9.5" x 2.5" sculpture
1' x 1.5' x 4' sculpture
3 Photographs, (or) 2 photographs and one video piece.
Photos: 30" wide
(Video): <19" Television and accomodating DVD player on shelf - estimated dimensions: 25" wide, 17" deep
either two painting that are about 36x24 or 3 or 4 prints smaller prints.
