we need to figure out who is showing on what day! would anyone mind if later today i roughly group everyone up and see how that works? we havent done this yet...
I don't think we're doing the seperate day thing anymore (that was a solution to not having enough room for everyone at once). BUT we do need to be organized in our placement throughout the space, so go for it.
I know we are not getting into technical stuff yet, but we need to find out what is allowed within the space (digging, hanging lighting from rafters etc). Having these questions answered will help us plan more rationally. Question List for the person in control of the space??
Sarah and I, have some pretty good ideas about walls, and lighting, and things. I really like the way we can hide all of our electrical cords so easily. Just put 'em under the dirt! Nicolette's right, we need to ask Theo what we're technically allowed to do with the space... I think the list idea's good. Not being allowed to dig in some areas could be really bad for setting up the floating walls :(
Floor: What could cover it besides the Sod idea? I think mulch or mulch nuggets might be cheaper. Or just some kind of decoration things on "non-walking" areas.
Lighting and electrical: Do we need permit? Can we use the power from the building? I know someone who can do electrical work for us, if we manage to schedule the work in a Saturday or a Sunday.
For temporary walls: We need 2x4's and drywalls. But, before anything, we need to have our design ready.
How many people, how many works, what type of work? Let's gatter these information.
